Manuel Hermia trio "Austerity ... And what about rage" (Igloo IGL261)

Formule épurée pour une musique lyrique, parfois retenue ou au contraire violente et abrupte (ainsi "Infobesity"). Peut-être l'apex, "Austerity..." où l'engagement le dispute à la sensibilité, et son quasi envers, "Marécages " tout de retenue, d'exploration...

LG Jazz Collective "New Feel" (Igloo Records)

Un septet mené par Guillaume Vierset, qui signe les arrangements et qui a composé quatre des dix titres de l'album. Un CD dont l'ambition est clairement de séduire par des sonorités travaillées, une pâte orchestrale réjouissante, un allant vivifiant....
